For as long as I can remember, movement has been at the center of my life.
As a former dance studio owner for 27 years, I had the joy of guiding students of all ages in the power of movement.
But as I navigated my own life transitions—closing my dance studio, embracing my new role as a wife, my role as a mother, and focusing on my own well-being—I realized something powerful:
Movement isn’t just about performance. It’s about longevity, mindfulness, and feeling good in our bodies every single day.
That realization led me to Inspired Movement—a boutique style studio dedicated to helping adults age well, stay mobile, and feel strong in their bodies.
My Philosophy: Movement for Life
Aging should never mean giving up the things you love. I believe that with the
right approach, we can all stay active, reduce pain, improve flexibility and balance, and even sleep better—no matter our age or background.
At Inspired Movement by Julie, I meet you where you are and adapt movement to your needs, not the other way around. Whether it’s yoga, barre, rebounding, or mindfulness practices, we focus on functional movement—the kind that helps you in everyday life, from bending down to pick something up to feeling steady on your feet.

I was disappointed I
missed the second night. I felt great after the first one. Would be interested in doing more for sure. Slept really well last night. I went there feeling very stiff and a kink in my shoulder. It is now gone. Feeling much better and relaxed. Thankyou Jencrowe99
